WHY ART THERAPY?

  • It is different than talk therapy because it gives the client tangible and constructive ways to engage with issues in a hands on manner.

  • Working with an Art Therapist can untangle thoughts, re-imagine past patterns and create multiple ways to get unstuck.

  • Instead of having to form thoughts through speech, we process through imagery.

  • Artwork allows the therapist and the client to observe problems from a different vantage point.
